Victor said that he had French too. they both went to French class and met their teacher named Mr. Bueller. He was very nice and knew a lot. In their class they asked Victor a question and didn’t get it right. She thought he was just joking. Then they talked and he did things that she liked. Analysis: This story was well written. It had very good information to follow. It had very good morals. One of them was don’t lie to people just to impress them. If you be yourself you will still have a shot.
This is the first book I read of Gary Soto and I liked it. It had really good morals. I liked how it was focusing on the story and the morals but it also is like what really happens in middle school all the time.
People try so hard to impress someone they get school and sports and anything else in the way of it. If they say no you have to live with knowing they don’t like you and you will feel very sad and depressed. That is why we should wait till we are older. Like me I need to focus on football and school more than anything in my life right now. Overall this story was very good.
